TailGauge's Privacy Policy
Please note: TailGauge does not provide vehicle specific support for a variety of reasons. The primary one is that the variety of makes and models, including intra-model year changes that do occur, as well as the variety of
trim packages that vehicle manufacturers produce make it difficult to provide this type of specific advice. However, all of our systems are designed to install easily in the average car, van, light truck, pickup, bus, etc.
In addition:
1. The variety of layouts of electrical systems, even within same vehicle models, means that any such advice could be inaccurate. We will provide general installation information to qualified technicians who are already familiar with the electrical systems of the vehicles they work on (although the
information required is usually already found in the manual that comes with each of our kits.)
2. For many of the same reasons, we are unable to provide vehicle specific installation support for issues including; where to run the cables, how to remove the door/ceiling liners/carpeting, all due to the wide range of vehicles out there and the continual changes that auto manufacturers make in their
vehicles.
We have found that the installation information in our manuals has usually been sufficient and helpful for most installations. Please be sure to read it before installing your kit. We believe that reading the manual first is part of a quality installation process.

Retail Customers, please place your order through the link at the bottom of this page.
Orders placed online are handled as priority orders, and are shipped before all other orders. There is no phone option for retail sales.

Corporate and Municipal Customers, orders can be processed either by phone at 301-441-4513 or 1-866-543-8444 Monday - Friday 10AM - 6PM Eastern Time or through this Website (See the link at the bottom of the page).
Because they are custom built, Sensor Bar orders cannot be placed online.
Note: The 1-866 number is for corporate and
municipal sales calls only.
Orders are usually processed
with 5-7 business days. Please note that, at this time
we are
unable to process retail orders originating outside the US.
Payment Options: We accept payment by check, money order, VISA, MasterCard, American Express or Discover.
All orders are placed using Thawte's Secure Certificate SSL and are processed through VeriSign's secure payment system. VeriSign collects your credit card information, NOT TailGauge.

The Model A - Part Number - KA101- costs $250 each.
The Model A-F - Part Number - KA201- costs $299 each.

Return Policy
If you are not completely
satisfied with your purchase of our Model A or AF consumer model
kit, we would like the opportunity to work with you to resolve your issues
and ensure that your experience with TailGauge leaves you satisfied. If
you have any issues with a product, please email us at
customerservice@tailgauge.com. We are here to assist you.
After communicating with our Customer Service Department, in the event you wish to return your item, here are a few things you should know:

Within 30 days of your order you may return your TailGauge kit, all parts complete and in new condition, including original packaging and paperwork (invoice), for a refund. We do not accept incomplete kits, or items returned more than 30 days after their date of
purchase. Please call to acquire a Return Authorization Number.

No returns on custom-built products such as the TailGauge Sensor Bar
and Industral kits.

The credit card used for the original purchase of any item is the same card that will be credited for any returns. Your credit card will be credited when we have received, inspected and processed the returned item. The refund will include the purchase price of the item
and any applicable sales tax, excluding all shipping and handling costs. Please allow an additional 14-28 days for the credit to appear on your credit card statement.

TailGauge reserves the right to charge a 15% (fifteen percent) restocking fee for any products returned.

The customer or purchaser is responsible for the cost of shipping their unit back to TailGauge, Inc.'s Shipping Department. The return address is:

Please note. The Return Authorization number
that you were given by Customer Service must be clearly marked on the
front of the package when shipped. We're sorry, but we cannot guarantee
credit for orders that are not returned in accordance with our return policy.
Warranty Support: To receive service or a replacement product under our warranty,
email us at returns@tailgauge.com to obtain a Service Authorization Number
(SAN). We will be glad to help you. Please send the product or part, postage paid with a note explaining the problem, along with the Service Authorization Number (SAN) and proof of purchase (copy of your TailGauge invoice) to:

For All Warranty related Shipping/Support. Please Note: Be sure to write the Service Authorization Number (SAN) in large letters using the letters “SAN” followed by the number provided you on the outside of the box above
the shipping label. Ship the parcel directly to the TailGauge Shipping Department ONLY. Failure to follow these instructions may result in your unit not being serviced or replaced. TailGauge is not responsible for the loss of any parcels sent for warranty work, not shipped to the correct address.

Method of Shipment:
TailGauge
uses standard UPS Ground service for all shipments within the Continental
US (for APO/FPO addresses we ship USPS Parcel Post), except when otherwise
requested. All units purchased within any one order must be shipped to the
same address. Units are shipped by UPS
Ground to the Continental US only. For APO/FPO addresses we ship USPS
Parcel Post. (All units purchased within any one order must be shipped to
the same address). Other shipping arrangements (orders shipped to
Hawaii or Alaska, International, 2nd Day Air or Next Day Air) can be made
by calling us. All special or expedited shipping instructions must be made
by phone. All packages are shipped from Rockville MD.
Order are
usually processed in 5-7 business days, after which shipping time averages
from 2-5 days (depending on the destination).
Tracking Your Order:
Purchaser’s e-mail confirmation includes a UPS tracking number and the
scheduled delivery date. Packages can be conveniently tracked online (UPS
provides a link within the message) or by telephone at 1-800-PICK UPS
(1-800-742-5877) option #1. (This is why TailGauge requires that you
provide a valid email address with your order).
