Installation Examples

The following photos were provided to us by customers, and therefore do not necessarily represent our chosen installation method for that vehicle. TailGauge products are kits, and as such, it is up to the installer to decide how to install the system on their vehicle. We hope that these pictures convey how you might install the sensors on your vehicle. The two photos shown directly below show the sensors of our newer Model A-F flush-mounted on a Ford Van. All of the photos displayed in the chart at the very bottom of the page show the installation of our surface mount sensors (Models A, V and V-SA). Click on any of the logos in that chart (below) to see pictures of installed sensors.

These photos show how customers have installed these sensors on their vehicles.
Keep in mind that if you would rather sensors not be as visible once installed,
each sensor comes with a clear cover (included in each kit) that may be secured to the sensor.
These covers are designed to be painted to match the color of your vehicle.
 All covers have been removed from the photos shown.
